Iberia Parish is under a burn ban as of noon on Thursday.
Evangeline and St. Landry parishes also are under burn bans.
The Iberia ban prohibits all outdoor burning. There are exemptions: prescribed burns by agriculture officials, burns by those certified by agriculture officials and agriculture-related prescribed burns.
