The Patrol Office for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office will be closed to the public due to concerns over COVID-19.
Sheriff Tommy Romero announced on Monday that the office located at 322 Providence Street, New Iberia is closed to the public for walk-in service.
For non-emergency assistance from a Patrol Deputy, please call Dispatch at 337-364-3711 and a Deputy will meet with citizens in the parking lot next to the Patrol Office.
Sheriff Romero stated "This is to ensure our staff remains healthy and can continue to serve the community. Thank you to the residents of Iberia Parish for their continued patience as we all navigate this challenging time, while maintaining our focus where it belongs on our residents and employees."
