The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the cause of a standoff that occurred this afternoon on HWY 14.
At approximately 5:30 P.M., a Iberia Parish Sheriff's spokesperson tells us that IPSO deputies responded to a call of "shots fired" in the 6300 block of Highway 14 in Iberia Parish.
There was a peaceful resolution to a standoff situation, they say.
A 32 yr. old male was taken into custody, according to the press release.
