EVANGELINE PARISH — UPDATE: The boil water advisory for customers on the Point Blue Water System, in the Kennedy/Eugene Subdivision has been lifted.
The water, according to officials, is safe to drink.
The water was shut off on Friday January 17, 2020 to repair a broken main line. Water was restored after some work which led to the boil advisory being issued.
Water was shut off again on Tuesday January 21, 2020 to complete repairs and the boil advisory remained in effect.
