Ville Platte Police are investigating a shooting that happened during a holiday gathering at Hope Park.
Chief Neal Lartigue says he believes two people were shot; their wounds so far have been described as "grazes" and not life-threatening.
Lartigue says he and his officers are interviewing witnesses now and are hoping to solve the crimes quickly.
