A local man has been arrested in connection with a Saturday shooting that left one person wounded.
Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s deputies got a tip Sunday about the shooting that happened on Snooks Road. The caller said that it was Tristan Scott Lejeune who was responsible for the shooting. The caller also told detectives where to find Lejeune.
Detectives picked up Lejeune and questioned him, and he allegedly told them that he alone was responsible for the shooting. He was arrested and booked, a spokesman said.
The three people wanted for questioning earlier today are no longer of interest to the deputies, the spokesman said.
The victim has been listed in stable condition since his surgery on yesterday, deputies say.
