All Evangeline Parish public schools will close early on Thursday, February 11
Superintendent Darwan Lazard said the closure is due to impacts to campuses caused by severe weather and flooding.
Transportation will be provided by First Student, where possible.
Weather and road conditions permitting, Lazard says all public schools are planning to open in Evangeline Parish on Friday, February 12
