VILLE PLATTE, La. - A boil advisory has been issued by East Side Water System in Ville Platte.
Officials say the water system experienced water supply issues and as a result a boil advisory was issued as a precaution.
Customers who live on Lamar Road, LaChance Road and 4J Road are asked to boil their water for one full minute. Consumers must disinfect their water before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food.
The advisory will be lifted once notification is received from the Louisiana Department of Health.
