A boil order issued recently for customers of the East Side Water System in Ville Platte has been lifted.
Only those living in the areas of Maggio Lane, McDaniel Cove Road, and Orphas Lane were affected.
A line broke and had to be repaired. Officials tell us that the water that was tested was determined to be safe to drink.
