JEFF DAVIS PARISH
Jeff Davis Parish voters granted renewal of a 5.78-mill property tax for 10 years.
The tax, which raises approximately $1,240,600 annually, is dedicated to support, maintenance, operation and improvement of the Jefferson Davis Parish library and its branches.
It passed 74 percent to 26 percent.
