LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. — A house fire on Espasie Road in Milton appears to show extensive smoke, water, and fire damage to a home.
The fire was reported early Thursday morning. Youngsville Fire was the first agency on scene, followed by Milton Volunteer Fire Department and Broussard Fire Department. Then additional manpower was provided by Judice and Maurice Fire departments.
The homeowner escaped safely through a window with her two dogs, according to family.
