The search for a fisherman presumed drowned in Toledo Bend Reservoir is resumed Wednesday after being called off for the night, Sabine Parish Coroner Ron Rivers told KTBS.
Divers had been searching an area about 100 feet off the boat launch at Tranquility Bay since shortly after 5 p.m., the station reports.
Authorities were alerted after witnesses noticed a truck that had been parked and idling at the launch for several hours. The man’s wallet, keys and other personal belongings were still in the truck, KTBS reports.
