LSU is reporting 22 positive cases of COVID-19 in the community since Saturday August 15, 2020.

The university reported the number of cases on their website as part of their roadmap fall reopening guidelines.

They say that any updates and notifications will be communicated on their website in the next few weeks. The page offers resources for reporting COVID-19 cases on campus, a way to track symptoms and where and how to get tested.

WBRZ reports that the university said the number covers the "entire LSU community," including those who were not on campus when they contracted the virus.
