Louisiana native and American Idol winner Laine Hardy will be performing at the Saints game on Sunday.
Hardy's reps tell WBRZ, that he will perform the national anthem before kickoff of the Saints- Vikings game in New Orleans on January 5, 2020.
Following his American Idol win this year, 19-year-old Hardy toured the U.S. playing music. In a statement on Facebook, Hardy says that 2020 will top 2019 with new music and more shows.
His mother Cindy posted this message to Facebook letting her followers know about her son's performance. "WHO DAT! Watching the Saints play Sunday @ 12:05 CENTRAL ??? Laine will be singing the national anthem . He’s a little nervous (please say a prayer for him ) but I just know he will be great !!!!! Not sure if it will be televised."
