Governor Jeff Landry issued a call for a special session on taxes Monday.
The Louisiana Legislature will convene for a special session focused taxes starting November 6 and last no later than 6 p.m. on November 25.

Landry said topics will include tax reform and teacher pay raises, as well as elimination of taxes on prescription drugs and tax relief for seniors.
