Lafayette was a response to a clue on Tuesday’s Jeopardy episode.

During the first round of the popular quiz show, Lafayette was featured as a response to a clue under the category “Keep Your Places Straight.”

The clue, chosen by contestant Terri Evans, was located in the $800 spot and was also the first round’s “Daily Double.”

The clue read: “We are here” in this city, but the one with a U. of Louisiana campus, or the seat of Tippecanoe County, Indiana?

Evans bet $600 on the clue and incorrectly answered with “What is Tulane.”

Evans wound up finishing the game in third place.

Jeopardy airs every day at 3:30 pm on KATC.
