State Police are investigating a deputy-involved shooting in Natchitoches Parish.

Louisiana State Police say that they responded to a deputy-involved shooting around 4:30 Thursday morning in Cloutierville.

A preliminary investigation by state police revealed that the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at a residence along LA Highway 1 early Thursday morning. There, state police say that a deputy encountered a 29-year-old man.
