Saints fans boycott with second lines and anti Super Bowl parties

Saints fans are out in full force in New Orleans and across Louisiana, showing their love for their team by boycotting the biggest game of the year.

The Super Bowl may be happening in Atlanta Sunday evening, but the party appears to be kicking off in New Orleans. Gathering in the thousands, faithful Who Dats took to the streets of the Big Easy to show support for their team and their displeasure with the NFL.

Sporting their black and gold, Saints fans participated in a second line as part of the protests. KATC was LIVE in New Orleans on Sunday.

Saints fans in Acadiana are also gathering at local venues to join in the boycott. Several restaurants will show the replay of the Saints’ 2010 win in Super Bowl  44 while offering finger foods and refreshments. A ‘Cheated But Not Defeated’ march will kick off in Youngsville at 3:00 pm.
