Well-known Louisiana injury attorney Morris Bart has joined in on calling out the referees from Sunday’s NFC Championship game.
The game saw the defeat of the New Orleans Saints by the Los Angeles Rams who will now face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Saints fans and supporters say that a missed pass interference call during the final minutes of the fourth quarter cost the Saints a likely win.
Since the loss, petitions, conspiracy theories, and now billboards have been created calling out the refs and demanding a rematch.
Bart shared a photo to his Facebook pages on Wednesday of the billboard calling out the referees on their “game defining call.”
The billboard uses the attorney’s memorable catchphrase to give the refs a nice jab in the ribs. “Hey Refs!” the billboard reads. “One Call, That’s All!”
In the Facebook post, Bart comments that the billboard is “just a friendly reminder to the NFL refs from your favorite injury attorney.”
Other billboards went up in Atlanta following the Saints loss on Sunday. Those signs were put up by a Louisiana car dealership owner with the phrases “Saints got robbed” and “NFL bleaux it.”
A petition calling for a rematch between the two teams has recently reached over 700,000 signatures. To sign that petition, click here.
