Tonight, a candlelight vigil will be held in the city of Marksville for those involved in the fatal crash last week in Florida.

The crash took the lives of 5 children from the Avoyelles House of Mercy Pentecostal church in Marksville along with two other truck drivers. The children were heading to Orlando for a Disney World trip with the church when their vehicle was struck in the southbound lane of I-75 just south of Gainesville.

Three adults and four other children in the vehicle survived the crash. In total, seven were killed and eight were injured.
