Entergy, Slemco, and Cleco reported several power outages across Acadiana due to Thursday’s severe weather.
The companies say that customers in areas around Acadiana may be experiencing power outages due to severe weather. Crews were working through the day Thursday to bring those customers back online.
About 1,144 Slemco customers were without power in Acadia Parish, 148 in Lafayette Parish, 63 in St. Landry, 26 in St. Martin, and 36 in Vermilion Parish after the storm began its trek through the area.
Around 600 Entergy customers in the Acadia, St. Landry, and Lafayette Parish areas were without power.
Almost 700 Cleco customers were without power in Acadia, St. Landry, and St. Mary Parishes.
