The NFL has fined two players for their actions during the November 18 Saints-Eagles game.
The Saints won, 48-7, and handed the defending Super Bowl champs the worst loss of any defending champion in NFL history.
But the actions of two players during the game drew combined fines of more than $23,000.
NFL Networks’ Tom Pelissero tweeted about the sanctions. He said Saints running back Alvin Kamara was fined $10,026 for unsportsmanlike conduct during the game, and he said Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins was fined $13,369 for flipping off his former coach, Saints coach Sean Payton.
Jenkins played for the Super Bowl-winning Saints team, and also for the Super Bowl-winning Eagles team.
