NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is searching for a man who was reported entering the Mississippi River near downtown Baton Rouge Saturday.
East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies say the man entered the river around 7 a.m.
The man was reported to be about 20-years-old with short hair, a goatee and wearing shorts and a yellow shirt.
The sheriff’s office and the Baton Rouge Police Department are assisting the Coast Guard with the search.
