Report: Schlumberger to furlough employees, cut executive salaries

HOUSTON — Schlumberger says it will furlough employees because of the economic problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The energy company tells KTRK-TV that it will modify work schedules and cut executive salaries by 20 percent.

This announcement comes after Halliburton announced it will be laying off at least 600 employees ni Texas and Oklahoma.
