The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested two men in connection to a Thursday morning burglary at a Sulphur business.
Deputies say on August 20, they received complaints from the business located on Hwy 1256 in Sulphur that two suspects had attempted to gain access to a coin machine.
The two suspects were allegedly captured on surveillance video around 1:00 am using a hammer and a bat to open the coin machines. Detectives say that the suspects left the business and were later seen on video surveillance at a nearby convenience store.
Later that same day, deputies say the suspects, identified as 26-year-old Johnathan Willis of Sulphur and 18-year-old Jacob Lafleur of Lake Charles, returned to the convenience store wearing the same clothes they wore during the burglary.
Deputies arrived at the store and arrested Willis and Lafleur. The two were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on charges of simple burglary and criminal damage to coin operated machines.
Their bonds are still pending.
