A man accused in a June shooting has been arrested in Houston.
Lake Charles Police say Metron Craft, 39, is wanted for assault by drive-by shooting and possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the June 4 shooting on Ernest Street.
In that shooting, people were exchanging gunfire, police say. One man got a minor wound and was treated at a hospital. Craft was identified as a suspect in the shooting, police say.
Craft was picked up on July 8 in Houston. He's currently being held there while he awaits extradition.
When he is booked in Calcasieu Parish, his bond will be $750,000.
