The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office says a Sulphur woman was arrested after allegedly mailing nude photos of two people to at least 30 individuals

32-year-old Sarah D. Pharis of Sulphur was arrested on December 28, 2020, following an investigation into the incident.

Deputies say they learned that Pharis, who had access to the victim's personal information, allegedly mailed out degrading letters about him to at least 30 individuals and included nude photographs of the victim inside those letters.

The Sheriff's Office says they also learned that Pharis allegedly traveled to Texas to mail the letters.

Pharis was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 150 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image. That same day she was released on a $75,000 bond.

On January 14, deputies say Pharis was arrested for a second time after detectives learned another individual's private images were also included in the letters she had previously mailed out.

She was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with an additional 30 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image. The Sheriff's Office says she was released that same day on a $15,000 bond
