A student has been arrested for allegedly threatening a school shooting at Sam Houston High school in Moss Bluff.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office says they were notified of the threat on Tuesday, September 10.
Deputies say the 15-year-old made the threat to shoot up the school later this month.
During an interview, detectives say the teen allegedly admitted to making the threat during a class with other students present.
The student was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of terrorizing.
