Another person has died after a house fire late Tuesday night in Lake Charles.
KPLC reports that a woman identified as 39-year-old Marie Bourque has died from smoke inhalation. That update coming from the Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office.
The fire happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, in the 300 block of Dobbertine Drive.
A 12-year-old girl, Bourque's daughter, also died in that fire. KPLC is reporting smoke inhalation is also the cause in that death.
Two others were in the home at the time of the fire, a 36-year-old man and a 11-year-old boy.
