Lake Charles Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead.
Police were called to the 2300 block of Legion Street just before 9 a.m. Sunday. They found a victim who was transported to a local hospital, where he later died, a spokesperson said.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, the spokesperson siad.
