A Larose man was arrested on Saturday after deputies learned he went to the home of a 16-year-old boy for sex.
Deputies say 35-year-old Phillip J. Guidry was arrested September 26 after deputies were dispatched to a home in Iowa in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Guidry was located at the residence and told deputies he was there to meet a 16-year-old boy who lived at the home.
The teen told deputies that he and Guidry had sexual intercourse. Guidry also allegedly told deputies he contacted the boy through the internet prior to the meeting.
Deputies say Guidry also confirmed the two had sex.
Guidry was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor.
His bond was set at $400,000.
