LAKE CHARLES, La. — The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Lake Charles man on six counts of molestation of a juvenile.
Investigators state that they received a complaint on April 17 regarding Bennie F. Norris, 74, of Lake Charles, having inappropriate sexual contact with an 11 year old girl.
The following day, police say they spoke with Norris who told them he had inappropriately touched the girl approximately six times since the beginning of April.
CPSO then arrested and booked Norris into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged him with six counts of molestation a juvenile.
Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $450,000.
