BEAUREGARD PARISH — The former Lake Charles teacher accused of raping a 10-year-old is facing another count of rape in connection with the case.
KPLC in Lake Charles says the woman, Deidra Smith, is facing one count of first-degree-rape out of Beauregard Parish. She was previously arrested on 10 counts of first degree rape.

Beauregard authorities tells KPLC that Smith crossed parish lines with the same victim in April of this year.
