The drive-thru Disaster Recovery Centers in the cities of Bell City, Deridder, Lake Charles, Rayne and Sulphur will close as of noon Wednesday Oct. 7 due to the predicted path of Hurricane Delta.
The centers will reopen Oct. 14 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT daily, weather and ground conditions permitting.
The centers are located at:
Acadia Parish: Southside Community Center in Rayne
Beauregard Parish: War Memorial Civic Center in Deridder
Cameron Parish: Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge, 1428 Hwy. LA 27, Bell City
Calcasieu Parish: (2 locations) Calcasieu Civic Center in Lake Charles and Frasch Ball Park (Softball Fields) in Sulphur
Several other centers remain open in Louisiana. Survivors may visit any open center.
