If anyone has any information related to this incident they are asked to call the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at 491-3605.

Deputies were called to a home on Thompson Avenue in Iowa at about 7 a.m. Saturday. Two dead people had been found inside the home by a family member, deputies say.

Joan O’Brien, 73, and Zoren O’Brien, 81, were deceased in the home, deputies say. On Saturday, deputies said
the case appeared to be a double homicide. As the investigation progressed, deputies determined that it was not a random act.
