Several community organizations partnered to offer disaster relief to Lake Charles residents on Friday.
Southern University, Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Good360, Ilera Holistic Healthcare, and Medicis Pharmacy distributed relief packages and offered health screenings.
Mayor Nic Hunter was also on hand.
Relief packages included sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, deodorant, and more. The organizations also offered free blood pressure screenings.
More than 250 cars attended the distribution.
