LAKE CHARLES, La. - A 56-year-old Carencro man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Charles Ozenne was exiting the interstate at 5:36 am when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the base of the off ramp, according to police. He was then struck by a Ford F-250.
Ozenne was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead by emergency room staff.
Investigtors say impairment is not suspected as a factor in the crash but standard toxicology tests are pending on both drivers.
