Law enforcement in Calcaiseu Parish are currently investigating a possible homicide in DeQuincy.
According to KPLC, an investigation by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office began around 5:00 p.m. Deputies report that they received a call about a body seen at the end of a road in the DeQuincy area.
The sheriff's office has not released the identity of the victim. They are now working to determine a cause of death.
The coroner's office is on scene.
