A Lake Charles man was struck and killed while riding his bike on I-10, police say.
Damon Bradley, 44, died in the crash, police say.
Lake Charles Police were called to the 1200 block of North Lakeshore on Thursday about a man causing a disturbance. When they arrived, he had already left, police say.
A few minutes later, they got a call of a man riding a bike eastbound on the westbound side of I-10 near Ryan Street. When they arrived, they found it was the man involved in the disturbance. He had been struck by a vehicle and had died, police say.
Witnesses say a westbound vehicle was braking to slow down when the man steered his bike in front of the vehicle.
Standard toxicology tests are pending, but no impairment is suspected of the driver of the vehicle, police say.
