BROUSSARD, L.a. — Officers with Broussard Police Department have now confirmed that no shots were fired at the Walk-On's on Celebrity Dr just before 6:30 Saturday night.

In a statement, however, Broussard Police write that a man is now facing charges for illegal carrying of a firearm and terrorizing. That man is 26-year-old Latavian Locks of New Iberia, who now sits in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

According to Capt. Zac Gerard, officers responded to a call about a large disturbance involving weapons at the location. Further investigation showed that there was a physical altercation between two individuals who knew each other. While this was the case and a firearm was found, Gerard told KATC there were no shots fired.

Detectives are still actively investigating this case and anyone with additional information is asked to contact BPD at 337-837-6259 or make an anonymous report to Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
