Nurses who work for the Lafayette Parish School System are training with staff ahead of reopening.
The supervisor of nursing services says they're ready to step up to the front line.
Julie Buller explained a bit of what her and other nurses are doing to prepare for students to return.
"We're looking at establishing classrooms and different areas for isolation rooms that will be supervised at all times for our children. We've always done that, we've always isolated children that are sick."
