A group in Abbeville are showing veterans their appreciation with a dinner.
Woodmen Life Chapter 7 also presented Dwyer J. Griffin, 82, with a Quilt of Valor to thank him for his service.
Quilts of Valor is a nationwide organization founded in 2003. Their mission is to present service members and veterans with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. Thus far, the group has gifted over 124,000 quilts.
