The bridge over the Vermilion River in Abbeville has been rededicated this Memorial Day.
The rededication, in honor of those in the parish who died in service to the country.
Vermilion Post 29 and members of the community gathered in Magdalen Square under the oaks for the ceremony.
The event also honored the formation of the American Legion which is in its 100th year.
