ABBEVILLE, La. – The Vermilion Parish School Board will consider moving to a four-day work week at its next meeting.
On the May 8th agenda there is an item to move to discuss going to a four-day school/work week (Tuesday-Friday) to possibly help with budget issues in the future. The item was submitted by School Board Member Chris Gautreaux (District B).

In March, Avoyelles Parish School Board voted on a four-day week schedule. The change in the week will be implemented starting in the next school year (2019-2020).
