Coming up this weekend, a brunch focused on women in business will be held in Abbeville.
The inaugural Boss Babes Business Brunch was organized to bring business-minded women from Vermilion and other parishes together. Women will be able to network, build brand, and spread the word about their businesses.
According to Ambitions Abbeville, the brunch will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 10 am – 2 pm at 1616 Veterans Memorial Drive in Abbeville. Attendees who register on Eventbrite will be entered in a drawing to win prizes from each of the vendors.
Those vendors are selling everything from candles to clothes and accessories.
The brunch was free to all attendees.
“Not only is this a chance to support women and local business but a wonderful opportunity to network, build your brand and spread the word about your own business. We encourage women to come and share the story about their business or about their vision for their business,” Kaitlan Darby said of the event.
