Vermilion superintendent “highly effective” according to evaluation

The Vermilion Parish school board completed their evaluation of superintendent Jerome Puyau, or more accurately, half of the board members completed the evaluation.

The four board members who submitted evaluations were Chris Gautreaux, Chris Hebert, Stacy Landry, and Jean Broussard. The average evaluation from these board members is 3.7 out of four ranking which translates to Puyau being, “highly effective.”

Those who did not turn in their evaluations were Sara Duplechain, Laura LeBeouf, David Dupuis, and Kibbie Pillette.

There is a regularly scheduled school board meeting Thursday. According to Puyau, it is too late for the other four to submit
their evaluations.
