United Way of Acadiana packs meals for those in need

Boxes of meals were put together to send out to those unable to get to food pantries.

On Thursday, United Way of Acadiana packaged up meals for delivery for those experiencing homelessness due to the coronavirus pandemic and those not able to get to food pantries in the area. The organization says they are doing their part to make sure that those who are in need of food during this time are fed.

The packaging and deliveries happen every Monday and Thursday of the week. United Way asks that if anyone wishes to volunteer their time to help, please visit this link.
