LAFAYETTE — Some UL students are concerned that their new housing complex isn't complete yet.

The Heritage at Cajun Village complex opened just a few weeks ago, but UL is acknowledging that there are students who have complained about faulty circuits, missing appliances, and a lack of parking spots.

Contractors walked through every building and say that if anything needed to be fixed, it was added to a punch list.

Another issue is students parking illegally. While KATC was at Heritage, we noticed two cars with tickets.

There are 600 spots in the parking lot, enough for each student in the complex. There is one spot for each unit.

The contractor said the main issue right now is completing minor projects on the outside of the project.

There are also other minor issues to deal with, including faulty card access door openers and other small fixes like fans and lights.
