The man accused of killing a former principal in St. Mary Parish has pled not guilty in that case.
Michael Guidry, 50, is accused of killing 70-year-old Patricia Lyn Russo of Morgan City in October of last year at her home on Walnut Drive.
He was booked with first-degree murder, bank fraud and violation of his parole in the days following her death.
At an arraignment Monday, Guidry pleaded not guilty, according to the St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court’s Office.
His court date is set for August 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
