Baldwin Police Department say they have arrested a man arrested in connection with an armed robbery.
Police say they arrested Devon Thomas of Baldwin. Officers say they were alerted on October 28, 2018, of a suspect who was robbed at his residence. Evidence led officers to obtain a warrant.
On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Baldwin Police to the area of John Street in reference to a disturbance. Up arrival officers identified Devon Thomas in the crowd. After an alleged short foot pursuit, Thomas was taken into custody.
He has been transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center and booked with armed robbery. No bond has been set at this time.
